Welcome to our TK-3rd Grade STEAM Music Class "MAKE YOUR OWN OCEAN DRUM!" Assignment for the week of June 1, 2020! LEARNING OBJECTIVE: The students will use paper plates, rice-beans-sunflower seeds-macaroni, etc., a stapler or tape to make a percussion instrument called an OCEAN DRUM and then decorate it with crayons, markers, stickers, pencils, pens, etc. Feel free to use any supplies you have at home! An OCEAN DRUM sounds just like the waves of the ocean and students will learn to make different music rhythms using this fun percussion instrument! Take a picture of your drum and post it to your Dojo Portfolio!

LEARNING OBJECTIVE: The students will learn that restaurant take-out containers can make lots of great music beats and sounds and they will make music instruments with restaurant take out containers that they have in their kitchens!
